Is this your time to shine?
That question brings forward a lot of emotion, fear, doubt, judgement and terror for some people. Also, for a lot of people the idea of shining is on the stage or bringing your gift or purpose to the masses, however shining in your own life, your day to day is most important.
Shining in your everyday life means putting yourself first or even in the equation. Doing things that will bring flow to your day, taking charge of the direction you want to go in. Getting clear on what you want and taking the necessary steps.
This is where all those emotions come in, the fear of being seen to be directing your life, when all around you are stressed and overwhelmed and attracting in drama, do you want to stand out for getting your life together? The judgement from others “Who do you think you are?” but also the judgement from yourself, “who am I to step outside the norm?” and these feelings are common if you see your family in chaos and struggling.
The doubt creeps in when you wonder can you actually stand behind your desire to shine.
These emotions that we have, about being seen, shining, or standing out for what we can offer the world, is mostly learnt, taught or inherited. We were never encouraged to put our needs first or taught how do that with out the guilt or making us feel selfish. We allow the judgement of others to stop us without asking the question “Is this even true?” We give a lot of power to what we think others are thinking about us, are they really that interested?!!!!
This is really the year to shine, and I feel everyone is feeling that and feeling pushed to take charge. However, nothing is moving unless you address the emotions and mindset in the way!
