Starting your day with a clear intention


Starting your day with a clear intention makes all the difference to how your day unfolds.

The following are some examples of intentions you may want to set, I recommend setting it before you get out of bed.

Peace.

Grounding.

Be present with self and your family.

Finish a project.

Schedule time for meditation.

Selfcare.


Here are some simple ways you can set your intention and stay on track:


1. Take a few minutes at the start of the day, preferably before you get out of bed, when you decide on your intention, you can ground it when your feet hit the floor by connecting to earth by sending down roots from the soles of your feet.


2. Write down your intention in a short phrase, on a post it where you can see it throughout the day.


3. Most important step: Reconnect with your intention during the day as with endless distractions, it is easy to forget about it.



The key to your success is to revisit and reconnect with your intention throughout the day.


At the end of the day reflect on any differences your intention made, then tomorrow begin the process again.
