Mindset Reset

Mindset – Release the stories that are holding you back.
You set a goal, you make a plan, set things in motion to achieve, however it just isn’t happening.
Your mind will always remind you of the past. You may be ready to try something new or make positive changes in your life, but your mind is saying “remember the last time, it didn’t work out and you were disappointed” So every time you have a new idea or an opportunity comes your way, a story around disappointment surfaces and keeps you stuck. However, it may be many years later and you are much better placed for this opportunity or change now.
Here are 4 steps to transforming a limiting mindset into an empowering one:
1. Realize. When you realize this is what is happening, accept it, then you have the power to change a nugget of learning, you can bring forward with you.
2. Release. This step requires forgiveness of self for creating the limiting stories. Kindness and compassion will release you to tell a new story. The old one has served its time and now you can replace it with a new empowering story.
When you start to tell your new story, note the changes that begin to occur, because you have changed your internal dialogue, your external actions will also shift.
3. This is the magic of peeling away the limiting stories, you gain clarity and gain a new perspective.
4 Reframe. Reframing is standing back and looking at the story from another perspective your mind will always remind you of the past. You may be ready to try something new or make positive changes in your life, but your mind is saying “remember the last time, it didn’t work out and you were disappointed” So every time you have a new idea or an opportunity comes your way, a story around disappointment surfaces and keeps you stuck. However, it may be many years later and you are much better placed for this opportunity or change now.
