1. Say No!!!!!
Take a close look at what you are saying Yes to. If you are on a fertility journey you have to prioritise yourself and your health and your life. People who have expectations of you to clean up their mess, sort their drama, have to hear No from you. They will get over it, it was never your job in the first place to fix things for them. Take a moment before you commit to anything consider if it will serve you or drain you!
2. Disconnect from digital devices
Disconnect from screens on weekends. Put your phone down, turn off the computer and give your mind a rest. It sounds challenging but start small. Try one day a week or a few hours at night.
3. Create a peaceful mental space for you!
Take space and time to meditate. Try journaling, reading, or listening to your favourite music. It’s about taking the time out to connect in, making time for you and giving yourself some peaceful head space.
4. Remember to have fun
Laugh, joke, play, find your sense of humour. Nothing feels as good as a good laugh with friends. So, make time for fun and fun activities. Do things you enjoy, revisit activities you used really love to do. Bring joy into your life.
